About the Founder
Built by a teacher, for teachers
Hi, I'm Bowen Revill
I created TeachPlan because I know firsthand how demanding teaching can be. As a primary school teacher I've experienced the challenge of balancing high-quality lesson planning with the countless other responsibilities teachers face every day.
With over 20 years of experience in education, I've spent more than a decade in higher education at Sheffield Hallam University, where I led curriculum design, employability initiatives, and apprenticeship programmes. I understand what makes lessons effective: proper sequencing, reactivation activities, interleaving, and starters that genuinely link to plenaries—not just generic templates.
TeachPlan isn't just AI-generated content. Every lesson is cross-referenced with official DfE National Curriculum documents, SATs specifications, and exam board guidance (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). The pedagogy is sound because it's built by someone who has designed learning experiences for thousands of students and trained educators on best practice.
