1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TeachPlan ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
TeachPlan provides AI-powered lesson plan generation services for educators. The Service includes:
- Generation of lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, and worksheets
- Optional upload of medium-term plans and previous lessons for improved lesson sequencing
- Access to a library of cached lesson resources
- Storage and management of generated materials
- Subscription-based access to premium features
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information up to date.
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
The Service offers various subscription tiers:
- Free Plan: Limited to 3 lesson generations per month
- Pro Plan: Up to 50 lesson generations per month
- Unlimited Plan: Unlimited lesson generations
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- You will retain access to previously generated materials
Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 14 days of purchase if you have not used the Service significantly. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Resell or redistribute generated content commercially without permission
- Use automated systems to access the Service without our consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
7. Intellectual Property and Uploaded Content
Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you input into the Service, including medium-term plans, previous lessons, and other uploaded materials. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process this content to provide the Service.
Uploaded Context Files: When you upload medium-term plans, previous lessons, or other context files, we store and analyse this content to improve lesson sequencing and quality for your account. This content:
- Is used exclusively to enhance your lesson generation experience
- Remains private to your account and is not shared with other users
- May be used to train and improve our AI models in an anonymized, aggregated form
- Can be deleted at any time through your account settings
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to share this material and that it does not contain confidential student information or violate any third-party rights.
Generated Content: Lesson plans, presentations, and worksheets generated through the Service are provided for your personal and professional educational use. You may use, modify, and share these materials in your teaching practice.
Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, remains our intellectual property.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated by our AI system is provided as a starting point for lesson planning. While we strive for accuracy:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated materials
- Generated content should be adapted to your specific classroom needs
- We do not guarantee alignment with any specific curriculum standards
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeachPlan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
